As I have been spending most of my time in a rainy studio busily dyeing vintage garments for the upcoming spring collection launch, all of my dye inspiration has been bright, abstract and a little strange.

Enter Louise Zhang's art. It fits all my criteria: cute and creepy. Pinterest provides the best platform for discovering different dye palettes and moods. I never try to actually recreate anything I catalog there, but I love discovering new artists that embody the sort of color vibe I am obsessing over. Her work is playful, yet sort of grotesque with a myriad of textures, shapes and finishes that never cease to  intrigue.
